1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO CLAIM A PRIZE. Sweepstakes begins on 09/01/2009 12: 01 AM Eastern Time (ET) and ends on 10/15/2009 11:59 PM Eastern Time (ET) (“Sweepstakes Period”).  Sweepstakes is sponsored by Kimberly-Clark Global Sales, LLC (“Sponsor”) and Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (“Co-Sponsor”).

2. HOW TO ENTER. Mail-In Entry:  Official Entry Forms will be available, while supplies last, at participating Family Dollar store locations.  To enter, complete the Official Entry Form with full name, street address (with zip code/ no PO Box addresses allowed), telephone number and date of birth, and, if available, email address and an actionable interpretation of how a select “dicho” (saying) applies to your daily life, and mail it in a first class stamped envelope to Pasa el Buen Rollo with Family Dollar and Scott Sweepstakes, 8250 NW 27th Street, Suite 301, Miami, FL  33122; postmarked by October 15, 2009 for receipt by October 22, 2009.  You also may enter by hand printing on a 3” X 5” paper your full name, street address (with zip code/ no PO Box addresses allowed), telephone number and date of birth, and, if available, email address and an actionable interpretation of how a select “dicho” (saying) applies to your daily life, and mail it in a first class stamped envelope to Pasa el Buen Rollo with Family Dollar and Scott Sweepstakes, 8250 NW 27th Street, Suite 301, Miami, FL  33122; postmarked by October 15, 2009 for receipt by October 22, 2009.  On-Line Entry: Enter by filling out the entry form available online on www.familydollar.com website. You must fill out completely the following: complete name, address (no PO Box addresses allowed), daytime telephone number, e-mail address and an actionable interpretation of how a select “dicho” (saying) applies to your daily life. The actionable interpretation of what a select “dicho” means can be either in English or Spanish. On-line entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 PM ET on October 15, 2009.  Once submitted, all entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by sponsor.  Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, illegible, misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.

Limit one (1) entry in the sweepstakes per person per household, and per email address per calendar day during the Sweepstakes period regardless of the method of entry.  Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address.  Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses that identifies registrations and logins or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified.  Use of any automated programmed robotic or similar system to enter or participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.  In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any winner or registrant, the winner or registrant is the authorized account holder of the email address used to register.  The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.  Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. 

3. PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive six (6) months of free rent or mortgage payments towards his or her primary residence; maximum aggregate payments over the six (6) month period will be $5,000.00, approximately $833.00 per month.  (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $5,000.00) Twenty-five (25) First Prize winners will each receive 4 gift certificates for $25, totaling $100, (Total ARV of First Prizes: $2,500.00) No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. All claimed prizes will be awarded. Total ARV of all Prizes:  $7,500.00.  Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.  

4. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal US residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding residents of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Montana, Oregon and Washington state), age 18 years or older at time of entry. Employees of Kimberly-Clark Global Sales, LLC (“Sponsor”), Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (“Co-Sponsor”), MASS Hispanic (“Administrator”), and their respective affiliates, distributors or advertising and promotional agencies and members of their household or immediate families (spouses, children, parents, siblings and grandparents; and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or those persons living the same households of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter, play or win. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. This sweepstakes may not be published in any sweepstakes magazines, flyers or elsewhere without prior written permission of Sponsor.  Void in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Montana, Oregon and Washington state and where prohibited or restricted by law.

5. WINNER SELECTION: A random drawing from among all eligible entries received will be held on or about October 30th, 2009 by an independent judging organization whose decisions shall be final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Only one winner per household, family or organization.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION/RELEASES: The winners will be notified by telephone, mail and/or email according to the information provided in entry. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release within 7 days of date of notification. If an individual cannot be contacted, is ineligible or fails to timely return a completed and fully executed affidavit of eligibility and liability release as required, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Entry constitutes winner’s permission to use winner’s name and likeness for publicity without approval or further compensation where not prohibited by law. Please allow 6-8 weeks for prize delivery.  If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable or the required Affidavit/Release is not timely returned, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and its advertising and promotional agencies, which shall be final and binding in all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes. Kimberly-Clark Global Sales, LLC, or their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, agencies, officers, directors, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, late, lost or failed electronic or mailed entries, including incorrectly scanned cards, scanner failures or malfunctions; (2) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties of any kind including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any materials in the sweepstakes; (3) errors or delays in transmission; (4) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (6) any losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from the acceptance or use of the prize, or from participating in the Sweepstakes, (7) or any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. By acceptance of prize, winners agree to release Kimberly-Clark Global Sales, LLC, their subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors or advertising and promotional agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions for injuries, damages or losses of any kind to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with use of the prize. The Sponsor and its independent judging organization may prohibit you from participating in the Sweepstakes, if, at their sole discretion, you repeatedly show a disregard for the Sweepstakes Official Rules, or act: (a) in a manner they determine to be not fair or equitable including the use of automated processes or devices not valid for entry; (b) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other entrant or the Sponsor; or (c) in any other disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should any viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, systems malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor and its agencies corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Sweepstakes.
